Why Hoop Guru Basketball Camp?

We are proud to announce our 8th year of offering a summer basketball camp in Northeast Ohio. We have over 30 years of running camps throughout the United States. Each year we have grown and are looking forward to working with your child to improve their skills and give them the confidence to excel out on the court.

Our camp will teach each child the fundamentals of the game through a variety of ways. We believe that repetition is the best way to learn a new skill, so we will have lots of time with the ball in their hands. Our camp will not feature 5 on 5 play as we feel that in this setting, too much time is spent running up and down the court with very little time spent with the ball in their hand. Our camp will feature 1 on 1 and 3 on 3 games as they are the most realistic in giving the campers the ability to utilize the skills we teach in a game like setting.

Our staff is second to none and will include College and High School coaches, Middle school coaches and players who have played at the highest level. Our staff is energetic, positive and will make each camper’s experience something they will be talking about all year.

9:15-9:30 Ballhandling Drills

9:30-10:00 Stations

10:00-10:05 Water Break

10:05-10:25 Individual Moves

10:25-10:50 1 on 1 games

10:50-11:00 3 on 3 concept of the day

11:00-11:05 Water Break

11:05-11:30 3 on 3 games

11:30-12:00 Daily contest
